Our Adoption Journey!
What do you get when you combine two parents that adore each other, two crazy and beautiful girls (Izzy and Sofi), a Basset Hound (Bumper), and a Goldfish (Orangey) = ROOM FOR ONE MORE!
God started us down the path to adoption a long time ago with just a thought, but over time that simple thought has become our hearts desire as a family. Our incredible God has already open and shut many doors throughout the process to get us to what we know is the perfect place for our family and his glory. We have already begun the process to adopt from Ethiopia! The road to bring home our child is still uncertain in our eyes, but we know that this is the path that God has chosen for us to walk down as a family. Of course there will be much more to come on the process (the aspects we can share) as the days pass, but we wanted to formally announce being "paper pregnant" to all of our family and friends. I am sure there will be many ways over the coming months that we will need help from our family and friends. I can think of two ways right now: 1. Pray. 2. Pray for us some more.

ReplyDeleteI am so happy for you and Heather, you will be in my prayers daily and as of tomorrow morning, I will have my whole church praying for you. With the prayer warriors on your side, and of course our God, I just know that little one will be home with his family very soon. Still love my Lugo!
